I am a visual artist working with a variety of different media including porcelain, glass and taxidermy. My aim is to encourage people to pause, look twice and hopefully think about the increasing rate of species extinction.

A career as a veterinary nurse and a lifetime surrounded by animals has left its mark – I have found that I return to animals and nature for inspiration in my own work. I am fascinated by the skeletal structure of animals, particularly birds. This can be seen in my work which often includes small porcelain pieces inspired by bones.

Experimenting with different techniques and processes is a constant part of my creative process. I enjoy the new challenges and that feeling of excitement when something new is emerging from this stage.
